Our Story

The name Castle Rock Solutions was inspired by annual houseboat trips to Lake Powell, located in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. I have spent nearly every summer at Lake Powell for the past 40 years. After making the 10+ hour drive from Los Angeles each summer, Castle Rock is one of the first sights of the lake that is visible from the road after leaving Kanab, UT. Upon launching from Wahweap Marina in Page, AZ, boaters are welcomed by Castle Rock, one of the lake’s largest and most well-known monuments. It stands as a beacon, watching over this gorgeous terrain and always reminds me why Lake Powell is my favorite place on earth.

Our Founder

Greg Flowers

Greg’s career began at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he spent his time implementing accounting systems for clients in a variety of industries. Traveling for a living was fun, but it came time to settle down and Greg established himself as the VP of IT for American Golf, the nation’s largest operator of golf courses in the world, at one time with over 300 locations. Fast forward 17 years and his entrepreneurial dreams are now becoming a reality.

Over his career, Greg has done it all. His background in accounting allowed him to contribute to all aspects of the organization at American Golf. He built and maintained a team of seasoned IT experts that had an average tenure of 20+ years. During that time, he built the skills necessary to manage every aspect of an IT organization, from executive leadership, to infrastructure design, networking, telecom, support desk and public-company audit design and implementation.

Greg is a proud USC Trojan, having graduated from the Leventhal School of Accounting. Although never a practicing CPA, Greg completed the requirements and was recognized as a CPA in the state of Colorado.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. They love to travel and they love riding their Seadoos locally in the ocean and especially, at their summer houseboat trip at Lake Powell.
